LOCATION:      600 Washington Boulevard, Stamford, CT

JOB FUNCTION

The Fund Accountant will report to the Fund Controller. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Calculate fund incentive fees, investor balances and liquidity, investor redemption wires, monthly fund management fees.
  • Handle various reconciliation processes.
  • Compute monthly performance estimates.
  • Review, allocate and process fund expense payments.
  • Prepare monthly NAV package. In doing so, will analyze differences and liaise with the fund administrator to resolve.
  • Prepare/review monthly internal and external reporting.
  • Review monthly investor statements.
  • Help meet various regulatory requirements and filings.
  • Coordinate with fund administrator and external auditors to produce audited financial statements.
  • Play an important role in efficiency initiatives, including IT projects, workflow optimization and vendor management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least two years of public/private accounting experience.
  • An undergraduate degree with a strong GPA.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong intellect: ability to master a complex fund structure and logic.
