Full Time Special Needs Nanny – Barboursville, VA 

A family in Barboursville, VA 22923 is seeking an experienced and compassionate special needs nanny for their 12 year old with special needs,  and their 10 year old. Care is needed starting in mid July for full time, and will transition to part time/after school care in August when school resumes. 

Schedule:

• Mid July-August 5th
• Monday-Friday
• 7:30am-5pm
• August 5th- school year
• Monday-Friday
• 2pm-6pm (Up to 20 hours per week)

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• One dog in the home
• Parents value open communication and building a long-term relationship with the right caregiver

Responsibilities:

• Light housekeeping related to children
• Meal prep/snack prep
• Medication reminders/dispensing for 12 year old
• General childcare
• Picking up 12 year old from school and transporting home
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience or educational background working with special needs children
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferences:

• CPR and First Aid certified

Compensation:

• $17- $23 per/hour Based on Experience
