About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Video Editor to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about all things video, has a keen eye for detail and can showcase a strong portfolio. The majority of content produced in this role is short-form and social-first (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), with occasional long-form edits for brand campaigns and YouTube.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform raw footage into engaging and visually appealing content.
- Produce short-form videos optimized for formats such as Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.
- Add graphics, transitions and effects to videos to increase viewer engagement.
- Work closely with the team to brainstorm and execute new content ideas.
- Conduct reviews of drafts to ensure final edits meet aesthetic and technical standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing a range of content types
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)
- Experience creating and optimizing short-form content for social media platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Experience with color grading and color correction
- Strong eye for detail, with the ability to produce visually appealing content
- Knowledge of video design best practices and trends
- Basic audio editing skills, including sound mixing, music selection, and noise reduction
- Ability to incorporate feedback efficiently and manage multiple revision cycles simultaneously
- Ability to work during U.S. work hours (PT/ ET)
