Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing operations, including managing tools, personnel, logistics, and pressure control equipment (PCE) to ensure safe and efficient service delivery. Provides technical expertise to customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism in the field.
Duties and Responsibilities
Understand pressure control equipment and theory including grease injection
Supervise / assist with rig in and out of pressure control equipment and tools as required
Demonstrates a professional attitude and provides customer with operational expertise
Plan and execute operation of wireline unit (tools, logistics, crews, etc.)
Complete field invoicing and third party cost recovery
Supervise / assist with rig in and out of lubricator, and tools as required
Supervise / assist with gun loading operations
Ability to locate open / shorts in wireline tools and surface equipment
Operate and supervise a standard mast unit and/or mast unit with swab line (station specific)
Arm all explosive devices
Understand basic TCP perforating configuration
Ability to perforate and understand shot densities and gun limitations
Run and correlate GR / N / CCL / CBL / VDL / Temperature and RBL logs if trained and competent
Run junk basket and gauge ring, set bridge plugs, retainers and packers
Dump bail cement / sand
Have a basic understanding of slickline tools, packers, and profile nipples

Able to work on a 24 hour on call basis
Education and Experience
18 years of age
Class 5 drivers license (minimum)
Have or acquire a class 3 license with Q endorsement considered an asset.
Mentor Level 1, 2 and 3 Operators with tool knowledge, truck maintenance and shop equipment maintenance
Maintain required safety, operational and regulatory documentation as required
Leadership role in the shop (shop maintenance, shop equipment maintenance, yard maintenance, housekeeping, security, supervising operators, restocking of units with tools and supplies)
Successful completion of the pre-hire testing (physical / hearing test / drug screen/background check)
