JASARA PMC is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Manager - HSE (Stadium) to lead health, safety, and environmental management specifically for stadium construction and operations projects. In this critical position, you will be responsible for ensuring that all HSE practices meet the highest standards, focusing on the unique challenges and requirements within the stadium environment.

As the Senior Manager - HSE (Stadium), you will work closely with project teams, contractors, and local authorities to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE programs that ensure the safety of all workers, visitors, and stakeholders involved in stadium projects. Your leadership will promote a culture of safety and compliance, mitigating risks while facilitating successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement stadium-specific HSE policies, procedures, and programs aligned with regulations and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits tailored to stadium construction and operational environments.
  • Oversee incident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and third parties to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Lead HSE training and awareness programs focused on stadium-specific risks and safety protocols.
  • Monitor compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations applicable to stadium projects.
  • Prepare regular HSE performance reports and communicate findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement in HSE practices through innovation and adoption of new technologies.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness and response plans are in place and regularly tested for stadium environments.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture that encourages reporting, transparency, and accountability among all staff and contractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in HSE management, with significant exposure to stadium or large venue projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of stadium construction and operational safety standards and regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective HSE programs in complex project environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary HSE teams.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and emergency response planning.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
