About the Company

Our partner is a venture-backed identity infrastructure platform powering identity verification for fintechs. The company has raised roughly $19M to date from top-tier investors, is preparing to raise its Series B, and grew 5x last year with the same target this year. The team is lean, around 20 people and mostly based in New York, with a flat, meritocratic org structure that gives everyone meaningful autonomy and responsibility. The culture is collegiate and high-energy, with a healthy intensity and a genuine team feel.

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive, you will own the full closing motion on qualified deal flow generated by the SDR team and distributed via round robin. You will start by closing SMB and mid-market deals, with the path to take on larger and eventually enterprise opportunities as the company scales its sales org.

This is a true closing seat selling a complex product into sophisticated buyers. Deals involve multiple stakeholders, longer sales cycles averaging around 90 days, and deal sizes starting around $50K ACV and ranging into six figures. You will need to multi-thread, manage complexity, and keep prospects engaged through a considered buying process. Joining a small GTM team ahead of the Series B means strong ownership, real upside, and the chance to help define how the company sells.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from qualified meeting to close
  • Manage and close inbound deal flow distributed across the AE team
  • Sell a complex product into sophisticated, multi-stakeholder buyers
  • Multi-thread across accounts and keep prospects engaged through 90-day cycles
  • Handle SMB and mid-market deals initially, growing into larger and enterprise opportunities
  • Consistently hit and exceed quota

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of closing experience as an Account Executive, ideally more
  • Consistent track record of crushing quota (President's Club or equivalent a strong plus)
  • Experience selling complex products into complicated personas and stakeholders with long sales cycles
  • Strong multi-threading and pipeline management skills
  • Degree from a strong school, with exceptions for truly exceptional candidates
  • Able to work in person in New York full time
  • Bonus: fintech or identity verification experience, experience with rip-and-replace sales, experience selling AI agents, and a track record with $50K+ ACV deals
