Avis Greece is on the hunt for an exceptional IT Network Security Engineer to join the IT Security Department of the IT Division. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a high level of cybersecurity across the organization, while continuously improving security tools, processes, compliance activities, and information security governance.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the other IT teams, actively participating in the continuous improvement of the security posture of the company’s information systems. The role will also involve supporting audit preparation, managing security documentation, and monitoring compliance with internal procedures and the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS).

🎯 Your Mission:

• Monitor security systems and collaborate in the investigation and handling of security incidents.
• Participate in the management and operation of cybersecurity solutions, with a focus on network security technologies such as NGFW Firewalls, Traffic Segmentation Firewalls, Endpoint Protection, and Security Monitoring solutions.
• Evaluate the results of Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Tests and contribute to the planning and implementation of remediation actions.
• Work closely with the IT Infrastructure Department to ensure the secure operation of information systems.
• Manage and participate in projects related to strengthening the security of the corporate IT infrastructure.
• Prepare and collect the necessary evidence for both internal and external IT audits.
• Collect, organize, prepare, document, and maintain audit evidence.
• Draft, review, and continuously improve information security policies, procedures, guidelines, forms, and documentation related to the company’s ISMS.
• Monitor the proper implementation of IT Department procedures (change management, access management, account management, infrastructure change documentation, etc.).
• Maintain and update information security-related documentation.

Requirements

🌟 What Spells Success: Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Information Security, Network Security, IT Governance, or IT Auditing roles.
• Experience with IT audits and preparing organizations for internal and external assessments.
• Good knowledge and understanding of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with network security technologies (Firewalls, VPNs, Network Segmentation, IDS/IPS).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Desired Qualifications

• MSc in Information Systems Security or a related field.
• Experience with SIEM solutions or Security Monitoring tools.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Security or Azure Security.
• Experience managing and monitoring information security projects.
• Knowledge of documentation management tools.
