Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking to hire a Jr. HSE Engineer to join our HSE Department. The role is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Environment, Health & Safety (HSE) Management System at the lead plant. The position is based in Xanthi, Greece.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role includes:

• Support daily Health, Safety & Environment activities

• Participate in workplace inspections

• Support in conducting risk assessments

• Assist in incident investigations

• Support health and safety programs (PPE, hygiene, signage)

• Maintain EHS records and develop reports

• Participate in personnel training, drills and awareness activities
• Monitor environmental parameters (emissions, waste management, storage of hazardous materials).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Production Engineering and Management/ Energy Technology Engineering or related field
• 0-2 years of experience in EHS or industrial experience preferably in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Fluency in English & Greek
• Knowledge of basic HSE principles or/and environmental legislation
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environment) standards is a plus
• Strong safety and compliance mindset
• High attention to detail and discipline
• Proactive and willing to learn
