For our TPS site in Prague, we are looking for TEST ENGINEER (POWER CONVERSION)

This role's main activities will be:

  • Testing of high-power converters (up to ≈10 MW) according to international standards
  • Supporting development and continuous improvement of converter systems
  • Commissioning of converters at customer sites worldwide after obtaining necessary skills and knowledge of our converters
  • Configuring and adjusting converter settings
  • Verifying proper operation of converter
  • Administrative tasks related to testing and commissioning
  • Supporting customers during final handover of the converter
  • Cooperating closely with the company headquarters in Geneva

Requirements

  • Education in electrical engineering
  • Basic practical experience in electrical engineering and power systems
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • English at a communicative level (for meetings, tests, troubleshooting)
  • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
  • Professional competence according to Decree NV 194/2022 § 6 (previously No. 50/1978 Coll.)
  • Reliability, flexibility, and independence
