Northmarq is looking for an Associate Broker to join its Investment Sales team in our Charleston, SC office. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to support Northmarq’s expanding investment sales team, working closely with senior brokers who are leaders in their fields. The Associate position is suited for adaptable candidates with a strong work ethic and ambition to excel in a collaborative sales environment. By collaborating with experienced brokers, the Associate will gain invaluable experience in Commercial Real Estate, focusing on Investment Sales.
 
*This position is an in-office position, with an immediate start date.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Engage in prospecting through cold calling and utilizing various resources to identify new leads.

  • Research new leads to uncover, identify and connect within target markets.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and analytics team to create tailored proposals.

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations.

  • List and promote multifamily properties.

  • Cultivate relationships with influential decision-makers.

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently holds a Salesperson/Broker license or is willing to begin process to obtain one within 30 days of starting.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is advantageous but not obligatory.

  • Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate is preferred.

  • Demonstrated self-motivation and a willingness to exceed expectations.

  • Proficiency in critical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and adeptness in research

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele

  • Strong work ethic coupled with drive for excellence

  • Strong client service mindset
