Director of Physical Therapy

Position Summary

We are hiring a Director of Physical Therapy for a full-time role in Boyce, VA. This outpatient position offers annual compensation of $90,000-$120,000 and a Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule.

The Director of Physical Therapy will oversee the clinical side of the office, including patient care, staff guidance, documentation review, treatment planning, and day-to-day operations. This role requires someone who can lead with clinical skill and practical organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outpatient physical therapy care and clinical service delivery
• Complete evaluations, reassessments, and treatment planning
• Treat patients with pain, injury, weakness, balance, and mobility concerns
• Supervise clinical team members and support staff development
• Review patient records, care plans, and progress updates
• Ensure documentation and treatment practices meet compliance expectations
• Assist with scheduling flow, provider communication, and clinic operations

Support patient satisfaction and strong care coordination

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy required
• Prior director, manager, or lead therapist experience preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient care standards
