Our client is a premier, tech-driven digital financial services and peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform in Indonesia, dedicated to driving financial inclusion through innovative credit solutions. Powering strategic financial growth and enterprise initiatives, they are expanding their regional footprint and strengthening their operational presence.
We are seeking a highly strategic, proactive, and relationship-driven Funding Manager to lead and expand our funding partnerships. This is a high-impact role that beautifully blends institutional relationship management, strategic negotiation, and financial optimization. Your goal is to lead the funding strategy end-to-end—from sourcing partners to closing deals—while driving capital efficiency, liquidity, and competitive cost of funds as the organization scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Expansion: Actively expand institutional partnerships with a wide range of capital providers, including commercial banks, BPRs, multifinance companies, and other institutional lenders.
- Strategic Oversight: Oversee comprehensive funding initiatives and cultivate deep, long-term, trust-based relationships with external financial institutions.
- Capital Optimization: Develop and execute robust funding strategies designed to optimize the cost of funds, manage liquidity effectively, and maximize overall capital efficiency.
- Deal Negotiation: Lead end-to-end negotiations with financial partners, taking full ownership of deal structuring, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Process Governance: Manage the end-to-end loan and funding pipeline, ensuring seamless execution across documentation, disbursement workflows, and ongoing covenant monitoring.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional lenders, ensuring alignment between internal risk/operations teams and external partners.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related financial/technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience within Banking, Multifinance, P2P Lending, Private Credit, or Asset Management sectors.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in sourcing, negotiating, and successfully closing institutional deals, including hands-on experience with term sheet negotiations and partner onboarding.
Relationship Management: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to confidently engage and influence high-level external stakeholders.
Regulatory Literacy: Solid understanding of financial services regulations, compliance standards, and governance frameworks across the Banking, Multifinance, and P2P sectors in Indonesia.
Presence: Must be fully open to a permanent, on-site position located in Cyber 2 Tower, Kuningan, South Jakarta.
