Your Mission

As a Stamps Expert for the Benelux market, you will curate high-quality auctions that attract engaged bidders and trusted sellers. Your expertise ensures that every lot meets the right standards of quality, relevance, and transparency. You play a key role in maintaining fair and compelling auctions by combining deep market knowledge with strong commercial judgement, contributing directly to the success and growth of your category.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate and arrange stamp lots submitted by users, ensuring each auction features attractive and relevant listings
  • Create compelling weekly lot selections using your market expertise and professional network
  • Review titles, descriptions, and images to assess quality and provide accurate estimated values
  • Maintain transparent and fair transactions by applying expert judgement to every submission
  • Communicate rejections professionally and constructively, safeguarding seller relationships
  • Collaborate with Sales to attract new sellers and diversify the range and quality of lots
  • Partner with Marketing to increase bidder engagement and visibility for your auctions

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong passion and proven expertise in Stamps
  • Solid knowledge of the stamps market in either the Netherlands or Belgium; knowledge of both markets is a plus
  • Excellent commercial skills, with experience in negotiation and relationship building
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Good computer skills and confidence working with digital tools
  • Good command of English, written and spoken
  • Business experience in Sales, Marketing, Project Management, or as a Stamps Dealer is a plus

This is a 100% remote role based in the Netherlands or Belgium.

Our Offices and Way of Working

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
