We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant with 9–16 years of experience in delivering enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM, with strong hands-on experience in Absence Management and Time & Labor modules. This role requires a seasoned consultant capable of leading functional discussions, driving end-to-end implementations, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver scalable HCM solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

As an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant, you will work closely with business users, project managers, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements, design functional solutions, configure Oracle Fusion HCM applications, and support implementation and post-go-live activities. You will play a critical role in transforming HR processes through best practices while ensuring successful project delivery.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional consulting activities for Oracle Fusion HCM implementations and enhancements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements by conducting workshops with HR and business stakeholders.
• Configure and implement Oracle Fusion HCM modules with primary focus on Absence Management and Time & Labor.
• Translate business requirements into functional design documents and solution specifications.
• Participate in solution architecture discussions and recommend best practices based on Oracle Fusion capabilities.
• Drive complete lifecycle activities including requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Support data validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and go-live readiness.
• Collaborate with technical consultants for integrations, reports, conversions, and customizations.
• Provide functional guidance during defect analysis, change requests, and system enhancements.
• Conduct user training sessions and prepare functional documentation, process flows, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and implementation methodologies.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Functional Consulting for Oracle Fusion HCM.
• Expertise in Absence Management configuration and business process implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Time & Labor module including scheduling, time entry, approvals, and validation rules.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and recommend optimal Oracle HCM solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in conducting workshops, requirement gathering, solution demonstrations, and user training.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within global project teams.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience as an Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant across multiple industry domains.
• Proven experience in full cycle implementation projects from requirement gathering through post-production support.
• Exposure to Oracle HCM integrations, reporting tools, HDL, and security concepts.
• Knowledge of additional Oracle Fusion HCM modules will be an added advantage.
• Experience working in Agile and hybrid project delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Oracle Fusion HCM Functional certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience working on global Oracle HCM transformation programs is preferred.
