About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic AEM Front-End Junior Developer to support development and maintenance of responsive web applications and digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager. The candidate will work closely with senior developers, UX designers, and backend teams to build modern UI components and enhance user experiences aligned with enterprise brand guidelines.
This role is ideal for developers looking to grow expertise in AEM front-end technologies, ClientLibs, SPA frameworks, cloud deployments, and AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor and GenAI assistants.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and maintain AEM front-end components using HTL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Assist in implementing responsive and accessible user interfaces aligned with enterprise design systems
- Work with React, Angular, or Vue.js for interactive front-end features
- Support implementation and maintenance of AEM Client Libraries (ClientLibs)
- Integrate front-end components with AEM templates, Sling Models, and APIs
- Support implementation of Content Fragments and Experience Fragments
- Use Cursor IDE and AI coding assistants to improve productivity and learning
- Participate in performance optimization and browser compatibility testing
- Collaborate with designers and QA teams for UI validation and bug fixing
- Support CI/CD deployments and Git-based workflows
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and development activities
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development
- Familiarity with React, Angular, etc.
- Understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles
- Basic understanding of HTL (Sightly), AEM Client Libraries (ClientLibs), and AEM components
- Familiarity with integrating UI components within AEM templates and workflows
- Familiarity with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or similar CSS frameworks
- Basic understanding of SASS, LESS, and responsive grid systems
- Understanding of enterprise brand guideline implementation
- Awareness of accessibility standards and browser compatibility concepts
- Basic understanding of front-end optimization techniques
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, and cloud deployment basics
- Exposure to Cursor, GenAI coding tools, or AI-assisted development workflows
NICE TO HAVE
- Basic understanding of Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target
- Exposure to GraphQL APIs and headless CMS concepts
- Familiarity with Adobe Cloud Manager and Edge Delivery Services
- Understanding of basic AEM backend concepts
