  • Conduct extensive simulations to determine precise external aircraft design loads.
  • Build and maintain low- and high-fidelity modeling frameworks to support comprehensive loads analysis.
  • Create automated analysis frameworks to drive engineering cycle efficiencies.
  • Develop non-linear actuator modeling tools to support Transport Canada certification mandates.
  • Utilize a wide range of commercial and proprietary engineering environments, including a 6-DOF aircraft simulator.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace specialization preferred).
  • Deep aerospace industry experience focused directly on external loads analysis and nonlinear modeling.
  • Solid understanding of aircraft flight dynamics, unsteady aerodynamics, and aeroelastic phenomena (flutter, LCO).
  • Mastery of programming and scientific computing using C++, Fortran, MATLAB, and Python, including version control (Git). - Strong familiarity with finite element analysis systems, particularly Nastran.
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident. - Bilingual fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
