LMW is seeking a Legal Assistant on behalf of a client operating in the loan and credit management sector.

The selected professional will support the company’s legal department by assisting with administrative and legal tasks related to loan management, recoveries, and compliance. This is a fixed-term contract (4–6 months) offering the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and collect relevant information for cases.
• Review, organize, and manage legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and debtor files.
• Maintain accurate records and databases, including Excel spreadsheets and legal software.
• Prepare and submit applications to relevant public authorities (e.g., land registries).
• Support loan account management and debt collection procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance and proper legal process implementation.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of law; ideally a law student or trainee lawyer.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and legal databases/software.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.
• Consistency, punctuality, and diligence.
