About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with development, execution, and maintenance of analytical workflows, scripts, reports, and dashboards
- Work with biological, analytical assay, and research datasets, including transcriptomics and proteomics data
- Perform data extraction, cleaning, harmonization, integration, and troubleshooting across multiple data sources and systems
- Support RNA-seq and proteomics data preprocessing, quality control, and exploratory analyses under guidance from senior scientists
- Support generation of figures, tables, summaries, and technical documentation for internal reports and presentations
- Maintain organized, traceable, and reproducible analytical workflows, datasets, and supporting documentation in accordance with internal procedures and SOPs
- Support maintenance and organization of cloud, database, and shared data storage environments
- Assist with workflow automation, cloud computing, and data processing activities using tools such as AWS, Git, and scripting languages
- Investigate data inconsistencies, missing information, and technical issues related to analytical datasets and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Data Science personnel
Preferred Qualifications
- MS or PhD degree in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Statistics, Computational Biology, Biology, or related field; relevant industry experience may be considered in place of an advanced degree.
- Experience with R or Python for data analysis
- Familiarity with transcriptomics, RNA-seq, or proteomics datasets
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization
- Experience with SQL and cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus
- Familiarity with biotechnology or regulated laboratory/manufacturing environments is a plus
- Experience with structured datasets, databases, or version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
