Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager - Road Safety to lead our efforts in ensuring the highest standards of road safety across our development projects. In this critical role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing road safety strategies that protect users and enhance overall safety within the infrastructure of Qiddiya. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing a culture of safety that aligns with our vision of crafting a safe, enjoyable, and sustainable environment for visitors and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive road safety management plans that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and road safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with design teams to integrate road safety principles into all infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor and analyze traffic data to inform road safety initiatives and mitigate risks.
  • Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and the community to promote road safety awareness and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate road safety issues, findings, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops to educate employees and contractors on road safety practices and protocols.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technology, and best practices related to road safety management.
  • Foster a culture of safety throughout the organization by promoting road safety initiatives and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in road safety management, traffic engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective road safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international road safety standards, guidelines, and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret traffic data and identify safety trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with traffic simulation and road safety audit methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement across all projects.
