• Key Responsibilities
• Guard assigned premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
• Control access by verifying visitors, employees, and contractors.
• Conduct security checks on vehicles, bags, and personal belongings where required.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, accidents, and security incidents.
• Prepare accurate incident, occurrence, and daily activity reports.
• Report security risks, suspicious activities, and safety hazards to the Security Supervisor.
• Assist during fire evacuations and other emergency situations.
• Enforce company security policies and procedures.
• Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests, visitors, and employees.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.

Requirements

• Qualifications
• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE). A certificate or diploma in Security Management or a related field is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in private security, law enforcement, military service, or a related field is preferred.
• Valid security training certificate is an added advantage.
• First Aid and Fire Safety training is desirable.
