About the role
Our client URGENTLY requires a Program Support Officer for 12 months + Contract in Darwin.
The Program Support Officer will provide high-level program, project and executive support to the digital transformation program, ensuring the successful delivery and continuous improvement of digital transformation and reform initiatives. You will play a key role in monitoring governance activities and supporting the development and implementation of strategies, projects and policies.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide high-level administration and program management support, including organising high level meetings, preparing agendas and collating papers as required.
- Coordinate and prepare high level briefs, submissions, reports and correspondence.
- Coordinate and undertake research and policy development, contribute to policy analysis and advice, and support implementation and evaluation.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to junior staff and actively participate as a member of the team.
Government experience would be highly advantageous.
