Simple AI is building state-of-the-art voice AI agents for enterprise. Our realistic agents help iconic businesses like DoorDash, xAI, and Omaha Steaks handle phone operations across customer support, order intake, lead qualification, and revenue-generating workflows.

Simple AI raised $14M from world-class investors and operators like Y Combinator, First Harmonic, Massive Tech Ventures, Michael Seibel, Jared Friedman, Alexandr Wang, Matt Van Horn, Suhail Doshi, and Scott Wu.

 

The Team

The founders (Catheryn and Zach) met while running software teams at YC, where they shipped products for YC founders, including YC's co-founder matching site. Cat previously worked at Instagram and Facebook and earned degrees in math and computer science at MIT. Zach studied computer science and statistics at UChicago and led software at PEAK6.

 

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Growth Marketer to join us in person in San Francisco and build our content-led growth engine from the ground up. This role sits at the intersection of growth marketing, product marketing, and content. You'll help turn Simple's product, customers, founder POV, and market insights into content that creates awareness, credibility, and pipeline.

This is a strong fit for someone who has owned blogs, social content, video content, customer stories, founder content, sales enablement, or other long-term content programs at a B2B startup. It is not a fit for someone looking for a narrow strategy-only role or a mature marketing org with lots of existing process.

We work from our SF office Monday through Friday and currently come in for a half day on Sundays. We want candidates to understand that cadence upfront.

 

What You'll Do

  • Build and execute Simple's content roadmap across blogs, founder/social posts, video scripts, customer stories, case studies, email campaigns, and sales enablement.

  • Develop messaging and positioning that resonates with B2B and enterprise buyers.

  • Partner closely with Cat, AEs, and SDRs to turn customer conversations, objections, wins, and product launches into useful marketing assets.

  • Support pipeline growth through content, campaigns, events, SEO/AEO, and targeted account-based marketing.

  • Analyze what is working, iterate quickly, and turn successful experiments into repeatable systems.

  • Help make Simple easier to understand, trust, and remember in a competitive AI voice market.

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of hands-on B2B marketing, product marketing, content marketing, growth marketing, or demand generation experience.

  • Strong writing and storytelling ability, with work samples that show clear thinking and crisp execution.

  • Experience creating long-form or recurring content such as blogs, social posts, newsletters, video scripts, customer stories, landing pages, or sales collateral.

  • Comfort working with sales teams and translating customer pain into sharp messaging.

  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment.

  • Willingness to work in person from our San Francisco office.

 

Nice To Have

  • Experience marketing B2B SaaS, AI, technical products, or sales-led enterprise products.

  • Experience at an early-stage startup or as an early marketing hire.

  • Experience building founder-led content, customer stories, or content programs from scratch.

  • Comfort using data to understand content performance, campaign results, and pipeline impact.
