The Senior Specialist – Procurement Compliance Audit at Qiddiya Investment Company plays a vital role in ensuring that all procurement activities adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements. This position involves conducting detailed audits of procurement processes, identifying compliance risks, and supporting corrective action implementations. The role supports the continuous improvement of procurement controls and promotes a culture of transparency and accountability within the procurement function.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Compliance Audits:

  • Plan and execute comprehensive audits of procurement activities to verify compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Identify gaps and risks in procurement processes and collaborate with stakeholders to develop remediation plans.
  • Ensure audit findings are documented accurately and communicated effectively to relevant teams.

2. Risk Assessment and Monitoring:

  • Conduct risk assessments related to procurement operations and recommend mitigating controls.
  • Monitor and report on compliance trends and emerging risks within procurement activities.

3. Policy Support and Training:

  • Assist in updating procurement compliance policies and procedures in line with changing regulations.
  • Support the delivery of training sessions to enhance staff awareness of procurement compliance requirements.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with procurement teams, finance, and audit functions to support compliance objectives.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit activities and respond to audit queries.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in procurement compliance, audit, or related roles, preferably within large-scale projects or organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS, CIA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulatory framework and business environment is preferred.
