As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies that drive revenue growth, engage key partners, and scale our global offerings. The ideal candidate will have experience driving strategic initiatives and leading cross-functional teams to ensure our goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development: Cultivate strong relationships with key agency partners and travel advisors, driving high-value engagements and expanding account portfolios.

  • Training & Enablement: Help with onboarding and training efforts for new travel advisors, ensuring they are equipped to succeed with Project Expedition's offerings.

  • Account Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for key accounts, handling escalations, solving problems, and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Support, Product, etc.) to ensure a seamless client experience and advocate for product enhancements based on customer feedback.

  • Travel: Represent Project Expedition at industry events, client meetings, and conferences. Travel may account for approximately one week per month, with flexibility to meet business needs (weekends included).

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience: 2-4 years of business development experience with a track record of leading growth and strategy initiatives. Ownership & Leadership: A proactive attitude and strong ownership over business growth goals.

  • Strategic Mindset: Proven experience in executing growth strategies and delivering results across a range of accounts.

  • Cross-functional Experience: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with internal departments and advocate for client needs.

  • Attention to Detail: A sharp focus on problem-solving, meeting client needs, and exceeding expectations.

  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for business functions (including potential weekend travel).

  • Flexibility in work hours, with possible early mornings or evenings to accommodate travel schedules.

Benefits include:

  • Annual company bonus (up to a total of $4,100 CAD, based on company targets - deferred eligibility)

  • 15 paid vacation days (increases to 20 days at 2 years tenure)

  • Annual work from home budget $700 CAD

  • Annual training budget of $350 CAD

  • Annual Project Expedition tour credits of $1,000 CAD

  • Employee discounts on thousands of tours and activities
