What is a Data Scientist - Teknosys?
The Data Scientist is a core technical role responsible for designing, developing, and delivering data-driven solutions that create tangible business value. This role combines strong analytical skills, statistical expertise, and machine learning capabilities to turn raw data into actionable insights and production-ready models.

The Data Scientist works closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and ML practitioners to understand problems, frame them analytically, and build models that address real organizational needs. The role focuses on the hands-on execution of the data science lifecycle, from data exploration and feature engineering through model development, validation, and deployment support.

Working within established standards and frameworks, the Data Scientist contributes to a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and responsible AI development. The role requires balancing experimentation with delivery discipline, ensuring that models are reliable, explainable, and aligned with business objectives.

What does a Data Scientist - Teknosys do?

• Translate business problems into well-defined data science and analytical solutions
• Perform data exploration, cleaning, feature engineering, and statistical analysis on diverse datasets
• Develop, train, and validate machine learning and statistical models to address business use cases
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers to support model deployment and integration
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy, reliability, and efficiency
• Communicate findings and insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Follow best practices across the ML lifecycle, including documentation, validation, and monitoring
• Contribute to responsible and ethical AI practices, including data privacy and model explainability
• Stay current with emerging tools and techniques, including Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Support the adoption of established standards, tools, and platforms within the data science practice

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Data Scientist - Teknosys?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or applied analytics
• Solid expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis
• Proficiency in Python and/or R, along with common data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience working with SQL and large datasets
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML workflows
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
