About the role
Job Description:
- Perform installation and configuration of applications, operating systems, and end-user devices including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobility devices.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of IT equipment including hardware inspection, software updates, and internal cleaning of computers and data racks.
- Support branch device deployment activities including setup, configuration, asset tagging, and verification of device readiness.
- Perform physical inventory checking of IT assets including laptops, desktops, printers, and mobility devices to ensure proper documentation and condition monitoring.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues including internet access, Wi-Fi connectivity, and device performance evaluation.
- Assist users in performing data backup procedures and verifying file storage in approved platforms such as Google Drive.
- Install and configure network devices such as access points and ensure proper placement for optimal signal coverage.
- Perform operating system migrations (e.g., Windows 10 to Windows 11) and support security software migrations such as endpoint protection solutions.
- Conduct data cabinet grooming and ensure proper arrangement and management of network equipment and cabling.
- Receive, document, and manage IT equipment deliveries ensuring proper asset tagging and inventory updates.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related course.
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or field technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Experience in operating system installation, migration, and configuration (Windows 10 / Windows 11).
- Familiarity with endpoint security software installation and management.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts including LAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, IP configuration, and access point setup.
- Experience performing IT asset inventory, tagging, and documentation.
- Ability to perform onsite and branch deployment activities including device setup and configuration.
- Good communication and user-support skills for assisting employees with IT-related concerns.
- Willing to travel to branch locations for deployment and maintenance activities.
