Companies Chill Truck Drivers (LR/MR/HR)

About the role

Chill

Here’s what most driving roles don’t say

This isn’t just about getting from A to B — it’s about doing it properly.

In cold chain, shortcuts aren’t an option. Every delivery needs to be handled right, kept at temperature, and documented correctly. You’re not just delivering freight — you’re protecting product and customer trust.

The role

You know what a good run looks like — planned stops, familiar customers, and the job done right the first time.

At CHILL, you’ll handle metro multi-drop and regional deliveries, moving chilled and frozen freight that needs to be delivered on time, at the right temperature, and documented properly. You’ll manage your run end-to-end using our tech — manifests, PODs, and reporting — with real accountability and the autonomy to own your day.

Day to day, that looks like driving LR/MR/HR trucks, operating tailgate loaders, completing pre-trip inspections every shift, and delivering cold chain freight to standard. You’ll capture POD photos, record temperatures accurately, complete your manifest and end-of-day reporting, and represent CHILL professionally at every stop.

Shifts start from 4am, with some runs from 5:30am depending on the route.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Current, valid LR/MR or HR licence
  • Clean driving record — no disqualifications in the past three years
  • Tailgate loader experience
  • Refrigerated / cold chain experience (desirable)
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
  • Comfortable using mobile apps for delivery tracking and navigation
  • Physically capable of multi-drop delivery work
  • Strong communication skills — this is a customer-facing role
  • Available for early starts and flexible shift patterns, including weekends

Benefits

The honest bit

This is a role with real accountability. You’ll be trusted to manage your run without someone looking over your shoulder.

That only works if you hold your own standard.

If you need chasing, reminding, or shortcuts to get through the day — this won’t be the right fit. But if you’re the kind of driver who does things properly because that’s just how you work, you’ll do well here.
