About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Storeperson to take ownership of our busy Stainless Plate & Sheet warehouse. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows warehousing inside-out — picking, dispatching, stock control, and keeping operations running smoothly. Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hrs/week)

What you’ll do:

• Run daily operations of the Plate & Sheet warehouse
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately
• Receive, check, and put away incoming stock
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts & stocktakes
• Operate forklift and overhead crane safely
• Coordinate with couriers, customers, and the wider team
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as a Storeperson in warehouse, dispatch, or logistics
• Forklift licence (overhead crane experience a plus)
• Strong stock control & inventory accuracy skills
• Confident communicator (team, couriers, customers)
• Calm under pressure with sharp attention to detail
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks
• Basic computer/system confidence (training provided)
• Based in NZ or holding a valid NZ work visa
• Willing to complete a pre-employment medical & drug screen
