Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Job Summary

We are hiring a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide telehealth therapy for clients throughout Virginia. The role focuses on practical, client-centered care for individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship strain, parenting concerns, communication problems, emotional health concerns, and life adjustments.

Position Details

Location: Virginia
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide remote counseling services through a secure telehealth platform
• Work with clients on relationship patterns, family concerns, conflict resolution, stress, anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues
• Create and update treatment plans based on each client’s goals
• Document sessions, assessments, and clinical progress in a timely manner
• Maintain client privacy and follow HIPAA-compliant practices
• Use clinical judgment to determine appropriate care plans and referrals
• Communicate professionally with clients and internal care teams
• Stay current with licensure, ethics, and continuing education requirements

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Active Virginia LMFT license in good standing
• Previous clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
• Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to manage a full-time clinical caseload
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions
