AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected.
Position Overview
We are seeking a quality technician for second shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and/or microscopic inspection of solder joints on PCBs (through-hole and SMD).
- Verify product compliance according to standards such as IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, or other applicable norms.
- Identify soldering defects (bridging, insufficient solder, cold joints, etc.) and document non-conformities.
- Conduct basic functionality and electrical testing of electronic assemblies.
- Quality checks following Work Instructions.
- NCR reporting.
Qualifications
Quality experience in manufacturing environments
Education:
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years in quality department
Preferred Qualifications:
- IPC-A-610
- No Conformity report
- Analytical mindset
- Problem solving
