We at Coforge are hiring Junior Java Engineerwith the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend components under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Assist in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-powered code suggestions) to accelerate learning and coding efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint ceremonies as part of an Agile team.
• Write unit tests and support integration testing efforts.
• Debug and resolve software defects with support from the team.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Continuously learn and stay current with Java ecosystem updates, AI tools, and industry trends. 
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with knowledge of Java (Java 17+ preferred).
• Familiarity with Spring Boot and RESTful API concepts.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (MySQL or similar).
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Willingness to learn and adopt AI-assisted development tools and practices.
• Strong motivation to learn, grow, and collaborate within a team environment.
