📌 Job Description: Webmaster / Website Administrator

The Webmaster is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and performance of company websites. This role involves managing servers, maintaining website functionality, and implementing strategies to optimize user experience and minimize downtime. The Webmaster will collaborate with internal teams and external clients to provide technical support, performance insights, and innovative solutions for web infrastructure.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage server performance to ensure optimal uptime.
• Configure and maintain web servers, software, and hardware systems.
• Upload, update, and maintain web pages with accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct regular checks to verify proper functioning of hardware and software.
• Design and develop websites aligned with organizational goals and branding.
• Perform A/B testing and other performance measures to improve user experience.
• Provide advice and solutions for handling peak traffic times and minimizing downtime.
• Ensure compliance with web standards, accessibility guidelines, and security protocols.

📌 Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Webmaster, Website Administrator, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with server management, website design, and performance optimization.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL).
• Strong knowledge of server configuration (Apache, Nginx, IIS).
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla).
• Experience with A/B testing tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.).
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices and data protection standards.
