About the Role

The Senior Manager of Marketing Operations will own REE Medical’s marketing technology stack, data architecture, and operational infrastructure that enable other marketing functions to perform. This role owns the technical foundation of marketing: HubSpot, lead lifecycle automation, marketing-to-sales integration, attribution plumbing, reporting infrastructure, Referral Rock and adjacent system integrations, and the day-to-day operational work that turns marketing strategy into deployed, measurable, reliable execution. You will manage a direct report (Webmaster and Analytics Manager), partner closely with the Senior Growth Marketing Manager on HubSpot strategy and roadmap execution, partner with Sales on lead routing and handoff, and serve as the operational source of truth for marketing performance data and platform integrity.

The ideal candidate is a senior builder and a systems thinker: someone who has owned marketing operations and MarTech administration end-to-end, who is hands-on with HubSpot configuration, who is comfortable operating in a regulated industry where data privacy and compliance matter, and who can translate marketing strategy into reliable, well-instrumented operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Martech Ownership: Own holistic strategy, governance, and operational health of REE Medical's marketing technology stack to enable effective execution and trustworthy measurement across the marketing organization: stack architecture and roadmap, data quality and governance, integration and security in partnership with IT, compliance and data privacy in partnership with Legal, and vendor relationships across all MarTech platforms.
  • HubSpot Admin: Own HubSpot administration end-to-end, roadmap execution, platform configuration, user management, workflow builds, list management, campaign instrumentation, lead scoring automation, integration touchpoints, and ongoing system hygiene; ensure builds are tested, instrumented, and operating reliably.
  • Referral Rock Admin: Own Referral Rock administration, configuration, integration health, automated triggers, audit trail integrity, and operational hygiene that protects program reliability and the customer experience. Partner cross-functionally to support business needs.
  • Marketing-to-Sales Integration: Manage lead routing logic, MQL/SQL handoff execution, SLA monitoring, and integration health between HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a direct report (Webmaster and Analytics Manager): website operations, technical SEO, site infrastructure, page deployment, front-end performance, and website data/analytics; responsibility for coaching, performance management, and career development.
  • Marketing Attribution: Own tracking implementation, UTM hygiene, attribution model execution, and the data architecture that supports trusted weekly and monthly performance reporting.
  • Data hygiene and quality: Own across the marketing stack (duplicate management, list governance, data validation, ongoing cleanup of legacy issues, and proactive identification of data integrity risks)
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT on shared services, data integrations, security requirements, single sign-on, and cross-functional platform dependencies that span marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Data Privacy: Support compliance and data privacy requirements: Opt-in and opt-out management, data retention policies, consent tracking, and audit support in partnership with Legal and Compliance.
  • Vendor Management: Manage marketing technology vendor relationships: contracts and renewals, vendor performance review, ongoing platform optimization opportunities, and evaluation of net-new tools that may enter the stack.
  • Marketing Reporting: Build, maintain, and manage marketing reporting infrastructure: dashboards, automated reports, performance tracking, and the data pipelines that feed weekly performance reviews with the SVP of Marketing and Chief Commercial Officer.
  • Platform Reporting: Develop and present weekly platform health and operational performance reporting; contribute to board-level marketing updates and quarterly reviews.
  • Insights & Planning: Contribute to annual operating planning, MarTech roadmap, and capacity planning; stay current on VA-adjacent regulatory shifts (PACT Act, VA policy changes) that affect data, privacy, and platform configuration.
  • Leadership: Model rigorous, ethical, and disciplined operational practice; mentor the Webmaster/Analytics Manager and contribute to the broader marketing organization as it grows.

Requirements

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • 7+ years of marketing operations, marketing technology, or related infrastructure experience with direct ownership of platform administration, integration, and data architecture.
  • Proven track record administering marketing automation platforms with configuration, workflow build, integration management, and data hygiene responsibilities.
  • Hands-on expertise with HubSpot Marketing Hub; HubSpot certifications strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in marketing analytics and reporting tools
  • Marketing operator mindset: strategic thinking, and also a roll-up-your-sleeves and dig in to execute mindset. Self-starter who operates with minimal supervision, takes full ownership of outcomes, and proactively identifies and resolves issues.
  • People management experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management of direct reports; experience developing technical talent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and presenting operational metrics to senior leadership.
  • Experience marketing in regulated, compliance-sensitive, or healthcare-adjacent categories is preferred.
  • Empathy for and understanding of the veteran community is a meaningful advantage; veteran and military-affiliated candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
