Job Summary:

Responsible for implementing and monitoring safety procedures on drilling rigs. Conducts safety training, ensures compliance with HSE regulations, and promotes a strong safety culture among rig personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine rig inspections and enforce HSE policies.
  • Deliver safety training: H2S, firefighting, confined space, PTW, LOTO, rigging & slinging.
  • Identify hazards, report incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead emergency response drills and ensure crew readiness.
  • Maintain safety records, reports, and training documentation.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ITI/Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Safety, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience on oil & gas rigs (offshore/onshore) in HSE roles.
  • Certified in H2S Safety, Firefighting, Confined Space, PTW, LOTO.
  • Knowledge of rig operations, drilling equipment, and safety standards (API/OSHA/ISO).
  • Strong leadership, training, and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Hands-on rig experience with mechanical or lifting operations.
  • Familiarity with incident reporting software and risk assessment.
