About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team at Crown Equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and coordination of all spare parts and inventory for South Queensland.

This role requires excellent organisation and communication skills to accurately identify and supply correct spare parts, manage stock and spare parts sales, and all related paperwork.

Requirements

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review and manage incoming and outgoing inventory including stock control, cycle counts, and replenishments to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Complete bi-annual stocktakes for the Spare Parts store, and as required, ensuring that it is completed with accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer catalogues, electronic parts systems (EPC), and supplier databases.
  • Monitor and report on parts usage trends, helping identify opportunities for cost savings and continued improvement of stock management.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Liaise with suppliers, internal team and customers advising purchase order status, expected delivery dates, and the reassurance of the timely delivery of parts and resolve any supply issues.
  • Prepare and manage quotations, invoices, and purchase orders for Parts Sales while ensuring compliance with company pricing structures and policies.
  • Supervise and plan daily locker runs and co-ordination of the Parts Courier duties. 
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements when handling parts and operating within warehouse environments.

Skills & Experience

  • Industry experience is desired.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
