We are seeking a Supply Chain and Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, supplier management, materials planning, and procurement activities for a major engineering and manufacturing operation. This role helps ensure that parts, materials, and components are available on time, at the right cost, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will work with suppliers, production teams, engineering, logistics, and finance to support manufacturing continuity and improve supply chain performance.

Requirements

• Experience in procurement, supply chain, materials planning, or supplier management
• Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering components, or industrial supply chains
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve delivery or quality issues
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Understanding of inventory control, purchase orders, lead times, and cost management
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Degree or diploma in supply chain, business, engineering, logistics, or a related field is preferred
• Professional certification such as CIPS, APICS, or CSCP is an advantage
