Description
Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer who shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting the project's software suite of applications and possibly future capabilities as mission needs arise. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries. The Software Engineer must have a demonstrated understanding of the software development life cycle.
Requirements
Security Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Required Skills:
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
- Recent software development experience using Java
- Experience developing with the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring Integration
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containers
- Experience with container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes
- Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services in a Kubernetes environment
- Familiar with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
- Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Bamboo and GitLab CI
- Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools including Ansible
- Experience using Git Source Control System
Desired Skills:
- Familiar with Log Aggregation and Management systems such as Loki
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence

Benefits
- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
