We are looking for a new colleague to join our talented Technology team based at our HQ in Vejle.

As our new Senior Software Engineer, you’ll join a cross-functional team responsible for building a unified seller solution that powers how vehicles enter and move through the AutoProff platform. We focus on enabling dealers to efficiently manage, price, and sell their inventory by combining streamlined vehicle intake, data-driven pricing, and intuitive seller tools. Our work simplifies trade-ins, improves sourcing decisions, and helps dealers act faster and more confidently, ultimately unlocking value earlier in the vehicle lifecycle.

We host hackathons to explore new tech, ideas and tools, and our internal developer forums are open spaces for discussing architecture, new technologies, and tough engineering challenges. Let's dive into your key responsibilities. You will: 

• Work in a dynamic and international environment with experienced and skilled colleagues 

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using engineering best practices and design patterns.

The need-to-have skills 

• Proven ability to thrive in environments that value adaptability, shared ownership, and continuous improvement 

• Experience working with .NET and C# 

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, distributed systems and event-driven architecture. 

• Experience with relational databases or No-SQL databases 

• Good communication skills and fluency in business English (spoken and written) 

• Open towards and able to quickly learn new technologies 

• Ability to troubleshoot problems, debug and suggest solutions 

• A pragmatic and responsible approach to GenAI, understanding its limitations and risks, and actively establishing guardrails (e.g. reviews, testing, and policies) to ensure safe, compliant, and scalable use in production environments. 

The nice-to-have skills 

• Experience working with AWS Infrastructure or other cloud providers, especially containerization and serverless computing. 

• Experience with RESTful APIs
