Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Dental Receptionist with prior experience in dental clinics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling patient communications, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance while providing excellent customer service.

Experience using Dentrix Ascend is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Update and maintain accurate patient records
• Coordinate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Handle appointment reminders and follow-ups

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a dental clinic (required)
• Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
• Experience using Dentrix Ascend (preferred)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet remote work environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with U.S. dental insurance verification
• Background in remote or virtual receptionist roles
