At Sphynx, we develop cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies and services, supporting organisations across critical sectors in building cyber resilience, managing risk, and meeting regulatory requirements such as NIS2.

As we continue to grow our presence, we are looking to strengthen our technical team with a skilled Mobile Developer. This position is offered on a hybrid basis in Greece and fully remote for candidates based in Switzerland.

The Role
As a Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that integrate seamlessly with Sphynx’s cybersecurity platforms. You will work closely with backend engineers, cybersecurity experts, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions in a complex and evolving threat landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement innovative mobile solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
  • Stay current with new mobile technology trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
  • Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.
