Role summary

We are looking to hire a Product Architect to lead the technical architecture of enterprise products and platforms, working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Security, Data, and Cloud teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives. This role drives modernization, API-driven and cloud-native architectures, and prepares platforms for AI-enabled and agentic capabilities that support intelligent automation and future business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Target architecture: Define and maintain the target architecture for assigned products.
• Technical translation: Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Architecture standards: Establish architecture principles, standards, and design patterns.
• Design review: Review solution designs and provide guidance on architectural decisions.
• Product lifecycle partnership: Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Leads throughout the product lifecycle.
• Technology guidance: Guide teams on technology selection, integration patterns, and architectural best practices.
• Modernization: Drive modernization initiatives and technical debt reduction.
• Non-functional goals: Ensure architecture supports performance, reliability, and maintainability goals.
• Cloud-native architecture: Promote API-first, cloud-native, and loosely coupled architectures.
• Integration patterns: Define integration patterns across enterprise platforms and third-party systems.
• Security collaboration: Collaborate with Security Architects to implement security-by-design principles.
• Governance & compliance: Ensure compliance with enterprise governance and regulatory requirements.
• AI adoption: Support adoption of Generative AI, intelligent automation, and agentic workflows.
• AI integration design: Design products that can integrate AI services, orchestration frameworks, and knowledge systems.
• AI architecture patterns: Establish architectural patterns for secure, scalable, and governed AI solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in Architecture, Solution Design, or Technical Leadership roles.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale applications and platforms.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud technologies, and modern application architectures.
• Experience working in Agile product development environments.
• Preferred: Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Preferred: API Design and Integration Patterns.
• Preferred: Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Preferred: Containers and Kubernetes.
• Preferred: CI/CD and DevOps Practices.
• Preferred: SQL and NoSQL Databases.
• Preferred: Enterprise Workflow and Automation Platforms.
• Preferred: AI/LLM Integration and Agentic Architecture Concepts.
• Product mindset with strong business understanding; strategic and systems thinking.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams; mentoring and technical leadership experience.
