Responsibilities
Knowledge within the Electrical Engineering discipline with capabilities and the initiative to perform the following with little supervisory assistance Design and layout of Low & Medium power distribution system Knowledge of substation design, short circuit analysis, ARC flash studies Experience with lighting design and grounding and lightning protectionDesign of electrical heat trace, wiring diagrams and schematics Application of medium to low voltage transformersApplication of uninterruptable power systemsConduit, cable tray and underground duct bank designUtility interface designElectrical calculations including short circuit, load flow, arc flash, motor starting, harmonic, device coordination and voltage dropInstrumentation & Controls Duties:
P&ID developmentInstrument selection and specifications, control valve and primary element sizingInstrument loop diagrams, location plans and installation details. Interconnection and wiring diagramsSystem architecture developmentControl system hardware specificationsDevelopment of sequence of operation and functional description documentsDevelopment of cause and effect diagrams Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required3+ years of relevant experience Ability to effectively resolve technical design problems with little coaching Strong Microsoft Office experience Familiar with SKM electrical modeling software, Smart Plant Instrumentation (InTools) and AutoCADMust possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skillsMust be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
