We’re looking for a passionate AI Mendix Solution Architect to help lead CLEVR’s clients into the AI-enabled era of low-code. In this role, you will design solutions that combine the power of the Mendix platform with AI-driven capabilities, while guiding organisations through the strategic, operational, and human changes that come with AI adoption.

Your role will include: 

• Design AI-infused Mendix solutions by combining low-code with LLM capabilities, intelligent automation, predictive models, and agentic workflows.  

• Lead client discovery and solution design sessions, translating business challenges into practical AI-enabled Mendix architectures and guiding organisations through the impact of AI on processes, roles, and decision-making.  

• Evaluate and implement Mendix AI capabilities such as Maia, GenAI connectors, ML Kit, and third-party integrations, while helping clients determine where AI adds value and where traditional automation is the better fit.  

• Contribute to CLEVR’ s AI + Mendix capability by developing reusable patterns and accelerators, shaping delivery best practices, and collaborating with AI Solutions Engineers on more complex solutions.  

• Strengthen both CLEVR and the wider team through thought leadership, internal knowledge sharing, client presentations, and mentoring junior consultants in AI-infused development approaches. 

What you bring to the table  

• A minimum of 5 years of professional Mendix experience in application design, solution architecture, or lead development, supported by an Advanced or Expert certification or equivalent hands-on expertise.  

• Strong experience translating business needs into scalable Mendix solutions, with expertise in Studio Pro, domain modelling, microflows/nanoflows, security, deployment, modular architecture, and solution design.  

• Demonstrated interest or hands-on experience with AI in Mendix, including tools such as Maia, GenAI connectors, ML Kit, AI Bot Starter, or custom AI integrations, combined with a solid understanding of AI fundamentals such as LLM capabilities, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agent patterns.  

• Familiarity with modern integration patterns and platforms, including REST APIs, OData, event-driven architectures, microservices, and cloud environments such as Mendix Cloud, Azure, or AWS.  

• Strong consulting and client-facing skills, with experience leading workshops, presenting solutions, managing stakeholders, and bridging business, technology, and AI opportunities.  

• Strong communication, mentoring, and commercial awareness, with the ability to explain complex technology and AI value clearly to both clients and colleagues.  

• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
