About the role
NeoWork is hiring a Senior Video Editor on behalf of a fast-growing UK-based DTC consumer app. This person owns the paid social ad production pipeline across Meta, TikTok, and programmatic channels, producing high-performing portrait-format creative at volume. They work inside an AI-assisted workflow, lead quality for junior editors in the pod, and adapt creative across 12 languages and 14 markets. This is a performance creative engine — not a long-form polish workflow.
What You'll Do
- Edit high-volume portrait-format (9:16) video ads for Meta, TikTok, AppLovin, Moloco, and Unity, optimized for paid social performance
- Cut hooks, variations, and rapid iterations on a weekly creative testing cycle
- Integrate AI tools (ElevenLabs and similar) into the production pipeline for voiceover, dubbing, and asset generation
- Adapt master creatives across multi-language versions covering 12 languages, accounting for VO timing, text length, and platform constraints
- Review work from junior editors, give clear feedback, and raise the technical and creative bar across the pod
- Partner with the Creative Strategist on brief intake, concept testing, and feeding performance learnings back into next-cycle edits
- Maintain organized project files, exports, and version control across shared asset libraries
Requirements
- 5+ years editing social-first video for paid social ads. Traditional long-form, corporate, or TVC backgrounds do not transfer well to this role
- Strong portfolio of portrait-format (9:16) paid ads with proven performance results on Meta and/or TikTok — required, not optional
- Hands-on integration of AI tools into video workflows (ElevenLabs, Runway, ChatGPT for scripting, or similar)
- Premiere Pro and/or After Effects proficiency: motion, sound design, captions, dynamic text
- Demonstrated experience producing localized creative across multiple languages and markets
- Comfortable mentoring junior editors and setting quality standards day-to-day
- Excellent written and spoken English for daily collaboration with a UK-based team
Preferred Background
- DTC or mobile app advertiser experience (consumer apps, photo books, e-commerce)
- Familiarity with creative testing frameworks — hook tests, variant ladders, iteration playbooks
- Comfort working inside ad accounts and reading performance signals to inform edits
