We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team on a large-scale data centre project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and programme requirements while working closely with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Ensure all works are executed in full compliance with the Winthrop Integrated Management System.

·        Review, coordinate, and manage project drawings as required.

·        Provide technical guidance and support to subcontractors across all project stages.

·        Plan, prioritise, and allocate tasks within the technical team to meet project deadlines.

·        Monitor subcontractor compliance with site, project, and health & safety requirements.

·        Apply troubleshooting techniques to identify issues and implement effective corrective actions.

·        Oversee document control processes, ensuring all logs are accurate and up to date.

·        Prepare handover and test packs for system commissioning.

·        Drive compliance and governance across all areas, including enforcing health & safety standards and safe working practices, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve safety performance, maintaining high standards of site housekeeping with subcontractor teams.

·         Complete and submit weekly "Don’t Walk By" safety observation cards.

Requirements

·        Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.

·        Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer on large-scale projects, ideally data centres, pharmaceutical, or industrial.

·        Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and design & build environments.

·        Knowledge of health & safety standards and construction regulations.

·        Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

·        A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
