The problem we're solving is real: European startups are stuck between neobanks (too small) and traditional corporate banking (too big). They're juggling 4-6 different financial products, running processes manually, and earning no interest on cash deposits. We're changing that with AI automation that handles the tedious financial work, so founders can focus on building their businesses instead of managing spreadsheets.

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own the platform that powers a financial product handling real money for real businesses. You'll build and scale the infrastructure behind our multi-tenant financial platform — from CI/CD and observability to database reliability and cloud architecture. You'll shape how we ship, monitor, and scale everything.

What you'll work on

Cloud infrastructure: Design and manage our AWS infrastructure — from compute and networking to security and cost optimisation. We run on a modern TypeScript/Bun stack with PostgreSQL, and we need someone who can make it robust, secure, and cost-efficient as we scale.

Developer experience: Build the tooling and CI/CD pipelines that let a small engineering team move fast without breaking things. We care deeply about deployment confidence — fast builds, reliable previews, and zero-downtime deploys.

Observability and reliability: Own our monitoring, alerting, and incident response infrastructure. When a payment fails or a bank integration goes down, we need to know before our customers do. Build the dashboards, traces, and alerts that give us confidence in production.

Database and data infrastructure: Scale our PostgreSQL setup for multi-tenant financial workloads. Think connection pooling, query performance, backup strategies, and migration safety for a system where data integrity isn't optional.

Security and compliance: Help build the infrastructure foundations for financial compliance. From secrets management and access controls to audit logging and network security — you'll ensure our platform meets the bar that financial services demand.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering experience
• Deep experience with AWS services in production (EC2, RDS, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM)
• Strong with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, or similar)
• Experience running PostgreSQL at scale - performance tuning, replication, backup and recovery
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux fundamentals
• Comfortable building CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar)
• Strong sense of ownership - you treat production reliability as a personal responsibility

Nice to have: experience in fintech or regulated environments, container orchestration, cost optimisation at

scale.
