Our client is searching for a Senior Sales Manager who is passionate about the IT automation space. In this role, you will actively seek new enterprise customers and engage with global accounts to drive product adoption. The ideal candidate has strong verbal and written communication skills and is comfortable interfacing with stakeholders at all levels of management. This position includes a sales quota with performance-based incentives.

This strategic individual contributor role is based in Paris, France and reports to the SEMEA Regional Sales Director. The role is remote, with quarterly travel required to Frankfurt, Germany.

Requirements

Your Impact on the Organization:

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Plan accounts and develop a long-term sales pipeline.
  • Sell complex products, solutions, and professional services.
  • Manage the sales process effectively.
  • Identify prospects and accurately report pipeline development.

Customer Engagement

  • Develop and present value propositions and business cases to customers.
  • Write proposals, negotiate contracts, and support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Increase product visibility and deployment with existing customers.

Product and Market Knowledge

  • Explain the mission and core functionality of the platform.
  • Understand and communicate basics of IT automation, file transfer technology, and ITIL fundamentals.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or Management; MBA preferred.
  • Experience selling enterprise-grade and SaaS software is required.
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure, Operations, and/or Workload Automation is a plus.
  • 10+ years of quota-carrying sales experience.

Sales Competency

  • Solution/value selling skills, including TCO and ROI-based sales models.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in sales performance.
  • Experience managing strategic or global accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of the French market.
  • Proven forecasting accuracy.

Technical and Business Tools

  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and standard office tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.

Communication and Teamwork

  • Native-level fluency in English and French (written and verbal, C-level).
  • Spanish and/or Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders (engineering, product, HR, finance, etc.).
  • Experience in IT, demonstrations, and account management.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
