  • Proficiency in managing and overseeing projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess complex project data, identify trends, anticipate potential issues, and propose effective solutions to maintain project timelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Sound knowledge and expertise in project management software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, to efficiently create, manage, and update project schedules.
  • A keen eye for detail to meticulously monitor project plans, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy in scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaborative relationships, and ensuring alignment between planning, execution, and project objectives.
  • Develop mitigation plans to address any possible delays or issues that may affect the project timeline
  • Daily monitoring of work and report any occurrences, which might create a delay or variation in the specified work.
  • Track project workflow from initiation to delivery and record variances on a log book.
  • Coordinate and communicate between teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and to customers.
  • Identify potential project risks related to schedule, resources, Lad external factors.
  • Participate in preparing variation orders and time extension claims.
  • Allocate resources effectively and ensure their availability as per the project's needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of department objectives.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor Of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • 2-3 years experience working in a steel fabrication company
  • 3 years experience working on planning tools preferably  Primavera P6 or MS projects
