Role Summary and Impact
- Develop comprehensive and strategic media plans for branding and performance campaigns, aligned with the business objectives of the global beauty industry account, with a focus on the LATAM region.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, target audience studies, and consumer trend analysis, using media planning and research tools to inform strategies and propose innovative solutions.
- Propose budget allocations across different channels and platforms, justifying strategic choices and potential return on investment, with a focus on digital media, including retail media and major platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, and partners).
- Serve as a mentor to junior analysts on strategic planning issues, supporting them in developing their skills and creating their own plans.
- Maintain constant and strategic contact with the client’s LATAM and global teams, especially in Mexico, to gain a deep understanding of their needs and present clear and effective media solutions.
- Prepare and present media plans and strategic recommendations to leadership and the client in a clear, persuasive, and well-reasoned manner.
- Identify new media opportunities and market trends, particularly in the retail and e-commerce sectors, to incorporate into the client’s strategies.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and technological innovations to ensure that media plans are always up-to-date and effective.
- Actively participate in strategic meetings with the client, advocating for proposals and contributing to the media strategy.
Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Extensive experience and proven expertise in strategic media planning (branding and performance), with prior agency experience.
- Intermediate-advanced English
- Experience with media planning and research tools (e.g., Kantar IBOPE Media, comScore, SimilarWeb, audience and competitor analysis tools).
- Highly analytical, strategic, and creative profile, with excellent logical reasoning and the ability to translate data into action plans.
- Ability to work independently to develop strategies and serve as a leader for the team.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in organizational, presentation, and analysis tools (Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides).
- Strong sense of ownership and proactivity.
- Previous experience serving clients or working directly with the beauty or e-commerce industry.
- Knowledge of other media (offline, OOH) for integrated campaigns.
