About the Role:
Are you ready to combine your passion for cloud-native infrastructure with your expertise in developing scalable and reliable platforms?
As a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) on the Platform Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of core platform components that drive our enterprise automation ecosystem. By collaborating closely with architects and lead engineers, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and efficient platform solutions. Based in our Chennai tech hub, you will work alongside global teams to create self-service infrastructure, enhance developer velocity, and support substantial enterprise workloads at scale.
Key Responsibilities

Platform Design & Development: Design and develop platform features with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and reusability.

Core Capabilities Implementation: Contribute to the implementation of essential platform capabilities, including:

Self-service infrastructure

Deployment automation

Service configuration systems

Architectural Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Lead Engineers and Architects to translate high-level designs into functional solutions, providing valuable feedback on feasibility and trade-offs.

Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in alignment with engineering best practices. Participate in code reviews and integrate feedback to continuously elevate team standards.

Production Support & Reliability: Diagnose production issues, contribute to root cause analysis (RCA), and assist in identifying and mitigating technical debt.

Observability & Productivity: Support and enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting systems while contributing to automation initiatives that improve overall team productivity and developer experience.
Qualifications & Skills
Education

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
